Medical Transcriptionist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Stenographer to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Stenographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality transcription services to support the delivery of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Transcribe medical dictations with high accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology and concepts
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely transcription
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict data protection protocols
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
- Grade 12 diploma
- Graduation from an approved program in medical stenography
- One year of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to type at 60 wpm
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
