Operations Shift Supervisor

At Tenaris, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Shift Supervisor to join our team in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. As a key member of our industrial operations team, you will be responsible for managing shift operations, directing employees, and ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage shift operations, including supervising employees, monitoring productivity, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Direct employees, provide guidance and training, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
- Follow up on productivity, downtime, delays, and quality KPIs, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Perform quality and safety inspections, and investigate accidents and incidents.
- Manage safety and quality actions, including implementing new procedures and protocols.
- Report on daily productivity and delays, and analyze and provide solutions for critical failures.
- Interface with ancillary departments, including Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Human Resources.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree and 3-5 years of experience in an industrial, manufacturing environment.
- Or +10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas.
- Ability to manage and rotate in shift work.
- Good knowledge of software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry an asset.
