Job Overview
In pursuit of excellence in patient care, Bayshore HealthCare invites skilled professionals to join our team as Specialized Infusion Therapists. This role involves delivering and monitoring specialized infusion treatments in a home and/or clinic setting.

About the Role
This casual position requires a registered nurse with expertise in administering specialty pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional peripheral IV initiation skills and experience working in acute care or home care settings.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop individualized nursing care plans for patients
- Conduct health assessments and medication administration teaching
- Prepare and administer intravenous or injectable pharmacological treatments
- Provide patient-centered care according to established care plans or medical directives
- Maintain up-to-date training and competencies for specialized procedures

Requirements
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Current registration with a provincial nursing regulatory body
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Advance Cardiac Life Support certification (for clinic roles)
- Chemotherapy-Biotherapy course completion (an asset)
- Experience in acute care, infusion clinics, or oncology settings (preferred)

Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
