Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Assistant 2 to join our team at the Terry Fox Lab. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct experiments and analyze data to support research projects
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members
  • Collaborate with researchers and scientists to achieve project goals
  • Develop and implement new laboratory procedures and protocols

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics)
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a research laboratory setting
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures, experience with data analysis software
