We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at The North West Company. As a key member of our People Development team, you will play a critical role in enhancing our people development programs across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training events for unique audiences organization-wide, utilizing a variety of methods including in-person, virtual, eLearning, and on-the-job coaching.
- Deliver training using a range of methods, including game-based learning, and support the learner/trainee experience, including communications, attendance, tracking progress, assessments, and overall success.
- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to support training delivery and facilitation, and conduct learner/trainee follow-up meetings to support, assess, and evaluate knowledge and abilities.
- Collaborate with other learning partners to identify and implement learning key performance indicators (KPIs), create and present training program evaluations and summaries, and maintain training and learning materials to ensure information and processes are up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience delivering training programs.
- Experience in facilitation and presentation to broad audiences, and experience delivering training using a broad range of methods.
- Certificate in Adult Education (or similar) an asset, and CPHR Designation / Human Resource Management (or similar) an asset.
- Experience within large, multi-location organizations preferred, and experience working with diverse cultures.
