Key Responsibilities- Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate, and make decisions autonomously to resolve complex bodily injury claims.
- Contact claimants, clients, lawyers, and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
- Manage complex files in defense litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
- Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
- Provide exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards, with the view of enabling the organization to be the industry leader in client engagement.
- You have three years of claims or related business experience.
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma.
- You have a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
- You have or will attain provincial adjuster license(s) depending on the province of work.
- You will travel occasionally.
- You are required to have your own vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
- Extended work hours, including weekends, may be required.
- You will be subject to a background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

Expected Salary Range: $65,000 -- $90,000
The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience, and education.
