We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grower and Nursery Worker. As a key member of our nursery team, you will assist with the production of high-quality forest seedling crops by applying effective forest nursery practices and principles.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to learn and grow with our company. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading nursery facilities, as well as ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment.
As a Grower and Nursery Worker, you will work closely with our team to promote collaboration and teamwork, set targets, and evaluate achievement. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records, operating computerized systems, and following our Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate records, including computerized record keeping systems
- Operate computerized and other control systems
- Maintain, repair, and upgrade nursery facilities and equipment
- Follow our IPM program for pesticide application
- Promote collaboration and teamwork
- Set targets and evaluate achievement
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of greenhouse equipment and climate control systems
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Great organizational and record keeping skills
- Ability to provide basic maintenance of facilities and equipment
