We are seeking an experienced Chef Manager to join our team at Honkers Pub & Eatery Ltd. in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities- Coordinate special events, including menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations management;
- Plan menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition supplies;
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation;
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health regulations;
- Maintain inventory records, manage stock levels, and implement cost-saving measures;
- Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas, adhering to company standards;
- Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision, training, and performance evaluations;
- Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines;
- Familiarity with kitchen safety protocols and equipment operation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software;
- A valid Food Handling Certification;
