As a key member of our trading desk, you will be responsible for developing in-depth knowledge of the natural gas market and performing market research and analysis to support trading activities.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the natural gas market, including market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and price relationships.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and risks, and provide recommendations to the trading desk.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques to market valuations and develop models to predict market behavior.
- Track and benchmark the performance of supply/demand models and trading strategies, and provide insights to the trading desk.
- Communicate complex market analysis and research findings to the trading desk and other stakeholders.
- Design and develop data visualizations to support market analysis and trading decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with market developments and adapt trading strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistical Modeling, Applied Math, Economics, Physics, or related field.
- Excellent computer programming skills, with proficiency in Python and experience with data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
