About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Consultant to join our team at Scotiabank.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the small business market and be able to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value and complex small business owner relationships to achieve retention and other negotiated goals.
  • Develop relationships with various Centres of Influence to create a strong presence within the local business community.
  • Proactively engage with new and existing clients to build strong, ongoing relationships and provide comprehensive advice.
  • Partner with fellow advisors to create a customer-centric environment.

Requirements:

  • Results-oriented attitude and sound knowledge of the small business market.
  • Excellent business development techniques and conversance with small business legal structures and life cycles.
  • Good organizational skills and flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong relationship builder and communicator with the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Education in a business-related discipline or equivalent work experience as a small business owner.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
