Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Agro Clerk I to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As an Agro Clerk I, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions through our Point-of-Sale system with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Unload freight, stock, and face products within the store and yard, maintaining a high level of organization and presentation.
  • Operate a forklift and dispense propane, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform general Agro duties, including interior and exterior housekeeping and maintenance, as well as opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Age 16 or older.
  • Power Mobile Equipment Certificate (willing to train).
  • Propane Dispenser Certificate (willing to obtain).
  • Previous retail experience in customer service, Agro products, point-of-sale operation, and merchandising.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs), climb ladders, and kneel.
  • Flexibility to work all scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, and a results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues to deliver solutions that meet shared objectives.
