Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Student Agro Clerk. As a key member of our Agro store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cashiering – process transactions through our Point-of-Sale system, providing accurate and efficient service to our customers.
  • Yard duties – load customer orders, operate forklifts, and dispense propane in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Stocking – unload freight, stock, and face products within the store and yard, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • General Agro duties – perform interior and exterior housekeeping and maintenance tasks, as well as opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:

  • You have a valid Class 5 driver's license and are at least 16 years of age.
  • You possess a Power Mobile Equipment Certificate and are willing to obtain a Propane Dispenser Certificate.
  • You have retail experience in customer service, Agro products, point-of-sale operations, and merchandising.
  • You are physically able to lift heavy objects (up to 60 lbs), climb ladders, and kneel.
  • You are willing to work all scheduled shifts, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
  • You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in your role.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value of diverse perspectives in meeting shared objectives.
