In this role, you will be responsible for performing fabrication tasks to create and repair metal structures and components. Your expertise in welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, will be essential in ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and Interpret Blueprints and Technical Drawings: You will need to carefully examine blueprints and technical drawings to understand the specifications and requirements of each project.
  • Perform Welding Operations: Using your knowledge of various welding techniques, you will fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
  • Inspect Finished Work: You will inspect the finished work to ensure it meets the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain Equipment and Tools: It is essential to maintain your equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure efficient production.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: You will work closely with other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Requirements:
  • Welding Certification: A certification in welding techniques, such as AWS or CWB, is mandatory.
  • Previous Experience: You should have previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and quality control are crucial in this role.
