National Account Manager Job Description

The National Account Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving market growth and expanding our presence in the national client space. This position requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in hunting and prospecting national accounts, as well as strong business acumen and deal-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted sales results through strategic account planning and execution
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and execute lead generation strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market canvassing and prospecting
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives to promote Rentokil Initial's services
  • Manage and update CRM systems, including pipeline management and forecasting
  • Design and deliver customized proposals for new service programs
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure long-term success
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience with complex national accounts
  • Strong board-room presence and communication/presentation skills
  • Excellent prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills
  • Consultative selling skills, with the ability to listen and understand client needs
  • Experience in the services industry is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Salesforce CRM experience or other customer relationship management system
