National Account Manager Job Description

The National Account Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving market growth and expanding our presence in the Canadian market. This position requires a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in hunting and prospecting national accounts, as well as strong business acumen and deal-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver targeted sales results and work closely with marketing to generate leads
  • Canvass the market for additional prospective clients and conduct C-level meetings to promote Rentokil and our services
  • Maintain and update CRM, Salesforce, including pipeline management, forecasting, and account prospect details
  • Design, price, and generate proposals for new service programs and negotiate contracts
  • Identify and attract prospective strategic customers and develop and maintain relationships to ensure long-term success
  • Ensure consistency across sites and divisions scope and maintain involvement in targeted associations, including attending trade shows/summits
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and five or more years of proven sales track record with larger, complex accounts with multiple locations
  • Board-room level presence and communication/presentation skills, as well as excellent prospecting, cold calling, and networking skills
  • Consultative selling skills, including the ability to listen, understand clients' needs, and position effective solutions
  • Experience in the services industry is preferred, as well as a valid Driver's License/Clean Driving Record
