As a valued member of our team at Save-On-Foods, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care in our pharmacy department. Our pharmacy teams are passionate about helping our customers and communities achieve healthier lifestyles.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Vernon, BC. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing written prescriptions and refill requests.
  • Inputting patient and prescription information into our computer system.
  • Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as checking expiry dates and inventory levels.
  • Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
  • Communicating with pharmacists to ensure accurate billing and patient care.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 2 years of dispensary experience.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset.
