Business Systems Analyst, Capital Markets Technology, Hybrid

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Global Banking and Markets Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for liaising between business stakeholders and internal engineering teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of business functions and be able to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market-leading solutions that are scalable and deliver excellence to our business partners and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver business requirements documents, design documents, use cases, and process models as required.
- Participate in the development of detailed project plans and monitor progress against planned objectives.
- Liaise between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
- Build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues in Global regions.
- Support production issues and handle escalations during Release cycles as needed.
Requirements
- 3+ years practical experience in capital markets.
- Minimum 3 years' working knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, with ability to create and run queries independently.
- Experience working with all phases of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Proficient with Unix Tools, shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python, etc.), SQL queries, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader - or equivalent.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and standards, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working results.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A recognized undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, computer science or related field required.
