Job SummaryThe Quality Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
- Provide quality advice to the organization on quality issues and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain quality policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Manage and oversee the design, development, and implementation of the QMS.
- Coordinate the management of internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with software and safety quality standards (ISO 9001, ED-109A).
- Conduct supplier audits and lead customer audits.
- Establish and maintain an Improvements Program.
- Evaluate and maintain a Legal Obligation Register covering the requirements of 9001, 45001, and 14001.
- Improve reliability of new product development processes.
- Ensure Electrostatic Discharge standards are maintained.
- Provide EHS expertise, guidance, and advice to management and health and safety representatives.
- Review and update the EHS management system, including standards, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that rigorous EHS audits, inspections, and investigations are conducted.
- Coordinate the EHS Induction processes for new employees.
- Ensure that breaches and any non-compliance or observations are investigated, resolved, and corrective actions taken.
- Engineering or related technical qualifications with 3-5 years' experience.
- Auditor qualifications and deep ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.
- EHS qualifications.
- Proven track record in quality management, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Mission-critical mindset.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to solve issues that arise.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Eligible for Secret Security Clearance within the first year of employment.
- Knowledge of ED109A and/or ED153 is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism in French/English is a strong asset.
