Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in collecting and analyzing sales data across multiple business divisions, transforming the data into reports and tools that will be used by various business leaders to make and drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and evaluate sales metrics, partnering with sales leaders to build and report on sales forecasts
- Provide regular sales reports and commentary based on results
- Work within various business systems (ERP, BI, CRM) to provide advanced analytics, uncover and sales trends/themes and report on key sales drivers
- Partner with sales leaders to develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts by region/territory/product etc.
- Enter and report large amounts of data into CRM (Dynamics 365)
- Gather critical information from sales meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports/models that will highlight relevant business trends
- Analyze historical sales data to forecast/analyze purchasing, inventory and asset needs
- Act as a first point of contact for questions/reports/training in our Business Intelligence system and CRM
- Monitor accuracy of CRM and advise on corrections required/train on best practice
- Supporting month end/quarter end/year end accounting procedures by providing timely and accurate reports and sales analytics
- Perform other ad-hoc reporting requests from Senior leadership team
- Post-Secondary Degree in Finance, Business, a related program OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years' experience in an Accounting or Sales/Project/Financial Analyst related position
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with Business Intelligence platforms (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Targit etc.)
- Experience with sales forecasting and financial modeling
- Experience working with Senior Managers, translating business objectives into financial metrics and measures.
- Experience leading meetings with multiple stakeholders
