Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Construction General Manager to lead our operations in Mississauga, ON.

Key Responsibilities

Main Tasks:

  1. Leadership: Oversee the allocation of resources, ensuring effective implementation of organizational policies and programs.
  2. Strategic Planning: Authorize and coordinate the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  3. Operational Management: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to achieve organisational objectives.
  4. Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  5. Policies and Procedures: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  6. Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organisation, in negotiations or other official functions.
  7. Talent Acquisition: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimum working conditions.
About the Role

Required Skills: We are looking for a candidate with 5 years or more of experience in construction management. You must possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands: The ideal candidate should have good attention to detail and be able to maintain a high level of productivity under pressure.
