About the Job

Campbell's Auto Service is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Test and adjust units to specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education:
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Certifications:
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Tire, wheel and rim mechanic
  • Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification
  • HVAC Certificate
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years
