About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Director to join our team at Electronic Arts. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented individual to lead our development team and drive project success.

Salary Range

The base salary for this role ranges from $140,700 to $204,700 USD annually, depending on location. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, sick leave, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

About the Job Description

This is a key leadership role that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a high-performing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading sprint planning and kick-off meetings, managing change requests, advising key stakeholders on project schedule, budget, and resourcing, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of project management and team leadership experience in game or software development
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a wide variety of people from different cultures, countries, time zones, and backgrounds
  • Well-organized and proactive
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate risk, trajectory, and progress over time
  • Experience working in a creative environment, preferably in the games industry
