About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Transition Line (Specialty Nursing) at Burnaby Hospital located in Burnaby, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing qualified registered nurses the opportunity to consolidate their skills by rotating through a specialty nursing unit(s) prior to and/or during the undertaking of postgraduate coursework applicable to the relevant specialty nursing unit(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with members of the interprofessional care team to provide person-centered care that demonstrates empathy, trust, and respect for patients and families.
- Develops and implements care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Participates in research and quality improvement activities to improve patient care outcomes.
