About the Role

This Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments of patients on admission
  • Makes nursing diagnoses and determines whether conditions can be improved or resolved by nursing interventions
  • Plans, performs, and evaluates nursing interventions and care
  • Collaborates with members of the inter-professional care team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals/providers as required
  • Collaborates with patients and their families/caregivers in developing the care plan
  • Establishes a therapeutic relationship by demonstrating empathy, trust, and respect
Requirements:
  • A degree from an approved School of Nursing and current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Two years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes as required
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $41.42 - $59.52 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
