About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Live-In Caregiver to join our team at Canilang Residence. As a live-in caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in child care.
  • Work Site Environment: Our home is a scent-free environment, ensuring a comfortable and healthy space for our children.
  • Work Setting: As a live-in caregiver, you will be working from our employer's home, providing 24/7 care and support to our children.
  • Tasks:
    • Change diapers and maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas to ensure our children receive the best nutrition.
    • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, including meal preparation and cleaning.
    • Travel with our family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
    • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
    • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, ensuring a positive and respectful environment.
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
    • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet.
    • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, ensuring they receive adequate sleep and relaxation.
    • Supervise and care for children, providing emotional support and guidance when needed.
    • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their educational and medical needs are met.
    • Help children with homework, promoting their academic success and development.
    • Cook and prepare meals for the family, ensuring everyone has access to healthy and delicious food.
Certifications and Requirements
  • CPR Certificate: A valid CPR certificate is required for this position, ensuring our children receive the best possible care in case of an emergency.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering stability and security for the right candidate.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in our home, and proficiency in this language is required for this position.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, ensuring our children receive the care and attention they need.
