Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Live-In Child Caregiver to provide exceptional care for children in a home environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for children.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience is necessary.
Work Environment
  • The position is in a scent-free environment.
  • Work is conducted primarily in the employer's home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Change diapers and ensure proper hygiene for infants and children.
  • Sterilize feeding bottles and prepare infant formulas.
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents.
  • Accompany the family on trips, assisting with child supervision and household tasks.
  • Provide bathing, dressing, and feeding for infants and children.
  • Implement discipline methods as requested by parents.
  • Guide children in personal hygiene and social skills development.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Prepare and serve balanced and nutritious meals.
  • Assist children in preparing for rest periods.
  • Supervise and engage with children in various activities.
  • Transport children to and from school and appointments.
  • Support children with their homework.
  • Prepare meals as needed.
Certifications
  • CPR Certification is required.
Employment Details
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
