The Restaurant Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Barburrito Fresh Mexican Grill. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant management, including staff supervision, inventory control, customer service, and financial management.

About the Job

This is a full-time permanent position with an estimated salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality administration and management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Monitor staff performance, recruit and train new staff members, and set work schedules to ensure efficient operation of the restaurant.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory levels, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and implement operational procedures to minimize waste.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive excellent service, address complaints or concerns, and provide a positive dining experience.
  • Financial Management: Monitor revenues, determine labor costs, and negotiate arrangements with clients for catering or use of facilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or certificate in hospitality administration/management or a related field.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
