Oro Steel & Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Steel Stud Framer to work on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instructing apprentices and supervising other workers.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 30 hours per week.
