Job Title: Steel Stud Framer

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Revelstoke Steel Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, preparing layouts, and installing exterior and interior steel studs. They will also supervise other workers, estimate costs, and schedule work on sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and steel
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Supervise other workers and ensure quality control
  • Estimate costs and materials required for projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
