Job Summary

Oro Steel & Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 hours per week.
