About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Marlon and Elsa Antonio. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies.
  • Household Duties: Assist with light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry tasks.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Accompany clients on errands and shop for groceries and household supplies.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
