Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Marlon and Elsa Antonio. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Encourage clients to engage in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Work Environment:

Our clients live in non-smoking environments, and we require our Home Support Workers to respect this policy.

Language:

English is the primary language spoken in our workplace, and we require our Home Support Workers to be fluent in English.Work Hours:

Our Home Support Workers work 35 to 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate clients' needs.
