About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Sushi Mura Entertainment. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu planning, and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine portion sizes and costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for successful execution.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, using fresh ingredients and adhering to our high-quality standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Train staff on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety protocols.
  • Maintain inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
About You

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure. You should be able to communicate effectively with our culinary team and management, as well as demonstrate a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management. A valid food safety certification and a secondary (high) school graduation certificate are also required.

Benefits
