We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Consultant to join our team at Capital Ford Lincoln Inc. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of parts to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with production managers and repair planners to coordinate part deliveries
- Maintain relationships with vendors to source and order parts
- Process part orders through various channels, including phone, online, and body shop management systems
- Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy
- Distribute parts to the shop in accordance with production schedules
- Receive, tag, and distribute parts promptly upon receipt or by 9 am for overnight deliveries
- Scan and process invoices for part shipments
- Supply body shop technicians with parts as needed
- Verify correct parts using mirror matches
- Return and reorder incorrect or damaged parts
- Collaborate with technicians and estimators on supplemental damage
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department and shop
- Assist with detailing vehicles as required
- Place ordered parts on assigned racks and carts in a timely manner
- Maintain departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Post parts and sublet invoices and maintain accurate accounting records
- One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
- Ability to interpret vendor catalogs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
