Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Hitchin Post Bar & Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food products are prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to our quality control procedures and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers receive a positive experience and are satisfied with their visit.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, supplies, and sales, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our food service staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Efficiency: Establish and maintain efficient work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and that our customers receive prompt and courteous service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week
