Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Engineer & NDT Program Manager to join our team at Teck. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our boilers, pressure vessels, refrigeration, and pressure piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight
    • Provide technical leadership and oversight to our NDT program, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our NDT program.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Monitor and maintain the condition of our boilers, pressure vessels, and other critical equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
    • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with our operations team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration on NDT-related activities.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to our operations team on NDT-related matters.
  • Qualifications and Experience
    • Valid 4th Class Power Engineering Certification or higher.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in non-destructive testing and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
    • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
