Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our global trade compliance organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant trade laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trade compliance programs and policies to ensure compliance with US export controls, imports/customs, sanctions, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to business leaders and teams on trade compliance matters, including classification of technology, software, and/or source code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, engineering, and supply chain, to develop and implement trade compliance strategies.
  • Design and implement training programs to educate employees on trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in trade laws and regulations and provide recommendations for updates to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in trade compliance, including experience with US export controls, imports/customs, sanctions, and compliance program development.
  • Subject matter expertise with non-US export and import regulatory regimes.
  • Experience in government relations and trade strategy deployment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex trade compliance advice to senior executives.
