Job Summary
CAE is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Training Specialist to join our Global Operations Excellence and QA team. As a key member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in driving organizational excellence by equipping employees with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy continuous improvement best practices globally through the business excellence model.
- Lead the development and offering of continuous improvement training programs.
- Ensure the effective deployment of the Continuous Improvement training programs globally.
- Plan and coordinate the different continuous improvement course schedule in close collaboration with the Continuous Improvement team.
- Identify the needs and develop the training programs required in the organization to maintain and elevate the continuous improvement culture.
- Lead trainings at various levels and business units within the organization.
- Define, monitor, and evaluate the progress of the trainings' impact on key performance metrics.
- Propose and implement corrective actions based on the KPIs' results.
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in training, organizational development, lean six sigma, continuous improvement, or related field.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) and/or other relevant certifications considered as an asset.
- Strong skills in presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in designing and developing training programs, instructional materials, and learning assessments.
- Skills in research, training, animation, and project management.
- Ability to analyze data and synthesize in key statements, curiosity, and creativity, interest to always be aware of the market innovation.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
