MCM-D'Lusso Construction is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with experience in preparing master format estimates (Class A) and utilizing quantity take-off procedures. You will also be proficient in operating CADD and other computer software systems, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Prepare master format estimates (Class A)
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures
  • Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Or equivalent experience
