About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Processing Labourer to join our team at Poppa G's Quality Meats. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with precision and care.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines with accuracy.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers with attention to detail.
  • Check products and packaging for basic quality defects and report any issues.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) knowledge are a plus.
Work Environment

Our meat processing and packing plant is a cold/refrigerated environment with wet/damp conditions. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety, we encourage you to apply.
