Role and Responsibilities

CAE is seeking a highly experienced Fast Jet Military Aircrew professional to join our team as a Military Aerospace Technical Expert. In this role, you will leverage your extensive aviation expertise to evaluate standalone and networked aerospace devices within the context of Training Systems Integration (TSI) programs.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that synthetic training devices meet all TSI and Verification & Validation (V&V) requirements for military programs. This involves collaborating closely with engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, providing invaluable insights from your aircrew background.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive V&V testing activities, including Training & Mission Test Procedures, scenarios, and lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to ensure that simulators meet design, customer, training, and regulatory requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Support customer acceptance and device qualification by relevant governmental authorities.
  • Contribute to marketing efforts by providing technical expertise to potential customers and assisting with bids and proposals.
  • Proactively identify and resolve defects during the project execution phase.
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations to the project team to assess risks and ensure successful program delivery.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for V&V processes.
Who You Are:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive experience as a Fast Jet Military Aircrew. Your deep understanding of complex military missions and systems, coupled with your technical expertise in tactical aircraft systems (Radar, EO, EW/ESM), will be invaluable to our team.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in flight instruction, maritime patrol, and tactical/combat operations. A strong technical background, exposure to simulation, training needs analysis, crew training experience, Test & Evaluation expertise, knowledge of armament, simulator qualification requirements, and associated aircrew training/testing/checking credits are highly desirable.
