Food and Beverage Operations Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Deerhurst Resort. As a key member of our F&B team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our hotel outlets and banquet department.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise restaurant operations and banquet to ensure exceptional guest service and efficient service delivery.
- Participate in new staff orientation and provide ongoing training to ensure service standards are met.
- Ensure uniform standards are met and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist in developing opening and closing procedures and maintain a presence on the floor during outlet hours.
- Liaise with guests, conveners, and conference services to ensure a best-in-class guest experience.
- Ensure accurate billing process for all servers and consistently inspect banquet and restaurant areas to ensure proper maintenance.
- Proactively identify and address potential hazards and ensure guest and team member well-being.
- Make decisions and develop recommendations for effective problem-solving and attend to guest concerns.
- Schedule team members according to budgetary guidelines and business levels.
- Adhere to all hotel liquor and food regulations and attend F&B management meetings.
- Complete administration duties regarding budget, payroll, and food and beverage cost of goods reports.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Experience with MICROS, OPERA, and OPEN TABLE an asset.
- 3 years of leadership experience in a hotel or supervising a restaurant or related field required.
- College diploma or post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field an asset.
- Smart Serve certificate required.
Visa Requirements
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
