About the Role

Vetech Dental Laboratories Ltd. is seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental technicians in the creation of high-quality dental prosthetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Dental Models: Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental prosthetics.
  • Moulding and Waxing: Mould wax over dentures set-up and prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
  • Packing and Polishing: Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures and polish and buff dentures.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop technical expertise in plastering, packing, waxing-up, and polishing.
  • Area of Specialization: Assist in the creation of full dentures, partial dentures, and orthodontic appliances.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, accuracy, dependability, initiative, and reliability.
