About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Vetech Dental Laboratories Ltd. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a vital role in assisting our dental technicians in the preparation of dental prosthetics and appliances.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Dental Models and Moulds

Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental prosthetics and appliances.

Moulding and Waxing

Mould wax over dentures set-up and prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.

Packing and Polishing

Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures and polish and buff dentures to a high shine.

Technical Expertise

Develop and maintain technical expertise in plastering, packing, waxing-up, and polishing.

Area of Specialization

Assist in the preparation of full dentures, partial dentures, and orthodontic appliances.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and perform repetitive tasks requiring attention to detail.
