Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson to join our team as a High-Performance Mechanic Specialist. As a key member of our mechanical program, you will perform routine maintenance and intricate repairs on compact cars and busy light-duty fleets.
You will be responsible for performing various general mechanical services, including brake and suspension repairs, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance. Your expertise will be shared with apprentices through mentorship and coaching, helping develop their skills in a supportive learning environment.
Collaborating with a highly skilled team, you will work on various vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light trucks, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certified as an Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson/Journeyman
- Valid driver's license
- Hands-on experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment
- Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service, and repair on various vehicles
- Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Motivated, positive attitude, respectful work environment, and ability to work with team members in a positive atmosphere
- Safety conscious, always wearing required PPE and following standard work protocols
