Food Service Manager

Meltwich food co. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks, servers, and kitchen helpers, to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Plan and manage food and supply inventory to meet the needs of our restaurant.
- Ensure Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Prepare Reports and Budgets: Compile reports and budgets to track sales, inventory, and staff performance.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 30-40 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive dining experience.
- Flexibility: Adapt to changing circumstances and priorities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
