Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Reitmans. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
- Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
- Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
- Collaborate with the store manager and district manager to achieve business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail environment
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
