Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Marché Duchemin et frères inc. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the store
- Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality store presentation
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets
- Monitor and control store expenses to meet budget targets
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or grocery store environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Experience in a supervisory or management role
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures
- Ability to speak multiple languages
