This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and has a strong understanding of financial reporting principles.

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for supporting forecasting and planning processes for Canadian Banking business partners and support groups.

  • Support the delivery of forecasts and profit plans, including quarterly forecasts, 5-year base case plans, stress testing, and annual profit plans.
  • Ensure the timely collection of data from support groups and complete analytic reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables.
  • Coordinate and communicate deliverables among support groups and work with them to provide comprehensive commentary on submitted expense forecasts and plans.
  • Support the end-to-end planning and forecasting process, including template and consolidation model updates.
  • Respond to queries from senior management and Canadian Banking on business line plan and forecast submissions.

You will also be a subject matter expert on CB expense, performing ad-hoc analysis, analyzing expense results and forecasts, and participating in the resolution of issues.

Additionally, you will work under the direction of the Senior Manager and Director to enhance expense analysis, planning, and forecasting processes and develop added value for CB Finance.

This role requires a post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, as well as advanced user proficiency with computer applications, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
