Job Summary

The Procurement Specialist II is responsible for collaborating with Procurement Managers on a multitude of Procurement projects ranging from RFXs, contract management reviews, and other supply chain management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client account group interviews
  • Advanced financial analysis
  • Modeling of proposals in the creation of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint communication summaries
  • Strategic planning and delivery
  • Sourcing strategy development and implementation
  • Opportunities assessment and implementation
  • Competitive bids execution
  • Supplier performance measurement and management
  • Supplier relationship management
  • Supplier contractual agreements negotiation and development
  • Strategic sourcing best practices and industry trends maintenance
  • Vendor qualification and set-up process
  • Support to Procurement team members

Requirements

  • University graduation or professional certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement field
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing requirements and practices
  • Ability to develop and execute category management strategies and plans
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to develop and execute supplier contract agreements
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Ability to build and manage relationships with various concerned parties
  • Advanced influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills
